June Film Feature: FamilyCook’s Teen Iron Chefs & Youthmarket Collaboration

Throughout the summer of 2008, youth from Urban Assembly School for Music and Art in Brooklyn who participated in FamilyCook's "Teen Iron Chef" program were found in the city's 'food deserts' in Bronx, Brooklyn and Queens cooking up delicious farm-fresh recipes @ CENYC Youthmarkets. This video offers a peak at the youth's impressive personal development and interest in teaching others. As the 2009 farmers market season gets underway, these and more of the FamilyCook Teen Iron Chefs across the city will be back at the Youthmarkets! See you at the market!
