Harlem Grown featured on NY1!

Harlem Grown was founded in June 2011, starting as a volunteer project to help restore a once abandoned community garden. It has since evolved into an interactive outdoor classroom servicing the students and staff of P.S. 175, the Henry H. Garnet School in Central Harlem. The brainchild of Tony Hillery, the organization’s founder and Executive Director, Harlem Grown continues to find ways to work with the community. The organization has a new green house under construction and recently organized a 5th grade trip to the White House garden sponsored by Chop't. Harlem Grown encourages you to keep in touch and grow with them.
