About the event:
Tomorrow, Thursday, May 31st, come out to Jimmy's 43 to meet past and new friends and support a great cause -- to bring youth voices to policy makers at a global level in the Rio+20 Earth Summit this June!

Young people around the world are mobilizing to bring their voices to the 150+ governments and 60,000 people expected to converge on Rio de Janeiro to debate “the future we want.” NYC-based “Alas de Rio” is a youth team that has grown up through community food, farm to school, and related work in the US and is connecting with young farmers, gardeners and activists across the US and internationally. Read Alas de Rio's appeal here.

Jimmy's 43 serves great brews and snacks! This week Jimmy’s No. 43 will be featuring Bronx Brewery Pale and Brooklyn Sorachi Ace pints for $6 as well as a super rare tap of De Koninck Triple D’Anvers. $10 dollar cover charge, silent auction for cool stuff, exclusive video showing, webstreaming and more!

This special happy hour event is part of a Kickstarter Campaign to raise funds to send youth to Rio, participate in the Earth Summit, and complete a documentary in the process!
