Engaging in National and NYS Food Policy

Our October Open Networking Meeting will provide a briefing on the status of and linkages between time sensitive food policy issues that are national and regional in scope. Organized by FSNYC's policy committee, this session will focus on hydrofracking in the Marcellus Shale region, the Farm Bill, recent flood impacts and risk mitigation for NY farmers. Information about how you can be involved with these topics -- including upcoming hearings, working groups, and related events -- will be provided. Join us!

The discussion will be moderated by Thomas Forster, New School.
